I was about fifty feet from the summit of a five thousand foot peak near Anchorage on Oct 20th, 2009. When I came around a small bend in the ridge, I noticed these two beautiful Dall Sheep rams bedded down about 100 feet away. To my amazement, both of them just sat there starring at me, allowing me to take this shot as I admired the view of the distant peaks with them, and after about 15 minutes, I continued on my quest for the top of the mountain.
